The Department of Innovation Methodology and Digital Solutions is a scientific structural subdivision of the Research Institute for Digital Transformation of Science. In its activities, the department is guided by the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On Scientific and Scientific and Technical Activities," resolutions and instructions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, other legislative and normative acts, the Statute of the Institute, orders of the Institute's Director, etc.
Main tasks of the Department
- Provision of scientifically grounded methodological support for digital transformation in the fields of science and education.
- Formation and development of institutional capacity for innovative management and digital modernization at all levels.
- Implementation of mechanisms for the strategic development of the Institute based on innovative practices and digital solutions that support the sustainable development of an innovation culture within the scientific community.

Division of Digital Transformation Methodology
Development of methodological materials, guidelines, and standards, formation of digital culture and ethics, and methodological support for the implementation of digital technologies
Division of Implementation and Support of Digital Solutions
Provision of consulting services on information and digital competence to scientific subdivisions of higher education institutions, academic institutions, enterprises, etc.
Main Focus Areas
- Development of methodologies for managing innovative projects and initiatives in the scientific and educational sectors, taking into account the principles of sustainable development and long-term effectiveness.
- Establishment of a system of qualitative and quantitative criteria for the comprehensive assessment of innovative activities, as well as for fostering digital culture and ethics within the framework of digital transformation.
- Development, adaptation, and implementation of methodological materials, standards, and recommendations for the digital transformation of scientific and educational activities, particularly for the creation and design of interactive and adaptive educational and scientific literature.
- Design and delivery of training programs, methodological courses, and continuing education materials, including those related to working with Open Journal Systems (OJS) and Open Monograph Press (OMP).
- Implementation of digital solutions in the scientific and educational environment, integration of the digital ecosystem into research, educational, and production processes, and adaptation of activities to meet international standards.
- Provision of expert and consultative support, technical and methodological assistance to academic institutions, universities, research organizations, and enterprises in implementing digital technologies, developing digital competence standards, conducting training programs, and providing methodological guidance to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with international requirements.
- Coordination of interaction between the Institute’s structural units in the implementation of innovative and digital strategies, ensuring consistent approaches and monitoring of implementation outcomes.
