The Department of Digital Science Research and Communications is a structural subdivision of the Research Institute for Digital Transformation of Science. In its activities, the department is guided by the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On Scientific and Scientific and Technical Activities," resolutions and instructions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, other legislative and normative acts, the Statute of the Institute, orders of the Institute's Director, etc.
Main tasks of the Department
- Conducting interdisciplinary research on digital tools and technologies in the field of scientific activity.
- Formation of a strategy for external scientific communication, particularly at the level of institutional and public interactions using data and analytical tools to strengthen the global visibility of Ukrainian science.
- Implementation of the Institute's information policy in the digital environment and ensuring permanent presence in the scientific and media space.

Division of Digital Tools Research for Scientific Activity
Conducts scientific and analytical research in the field of digital communications, mechanisms of scientific interaction in the online environment, public science, effectiveness of digital tools, and models for promoting scientific activity
Division of Strategic Digital Communications
Ensures the Research Institute's communicative representation in the digital space. Engaged in the development and implementation of strategies for disseminating scientific information, managing public presence, digital marketing, SMM, and establishing partnerships

- Studying the impact of digital technologies on the communication, indexing, and promotion of scientific results.
- Developing new formats for presenting science in open digital access.
- Organizing and supporting information campaigns regarding scientific initiatives, publications, and achievements.
- Analytical monitoring of digital transformation trends in the field of scientific communication.
- Building the Institute's reputational presence through external channels — scientific, educational, governmental.
- Coordinating the integration of digital platforms into systems of interaction with the academic and professional community.
- Implementing mechanisms for feedback and public engagement through digital services.
