The Department of Professional Development is a structural subdivision of the Research Institute for Digital Transformation of Science. In its activities, the department is guided by the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On Scientific and Scientific and Technical Activities," resolutions and instructions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, other legislative and normative acts, the Statute of the Institute, orders of the Institute's Director.
Main tasks of the Department
- Improving the qualifications of scientific and research and teaching staff, developing information and digital competence, and facilitating participation in international and domestic scientific internship programs.
- Facilitating the enhancement of the academic level of the professorial and teaching staff.
- Development of scientific and technical creativity of young scientists, postgraduate students, (and students, if this is an approved function of the Institute).

Division for Facilitation and Coordination of Educational and Scientific Activities
Integration of the educational process, science, and production. Coordination, facilitation, and methodological support of the educational process
Main Focus Areas
- Development and implementation of educational and methodological materials and digital resources to ensure continuous professional development based on approved educational programs that meet unified quality criteria and digital environment requirements.
- Development of courses and trainings that combine specialized scientific knowledge with digital and managerial skills necessary for a modern scientist, aimed at creating scientific personnel capable of solving complex problems.
- Support for open digital learning through proprietary methodologies and programs based on the principles of continuous education and implemented within the framework of unified educational approaches that meet the challenges of the global knowledge economy.
- Involvement of leading scholars and scientists in the educational process.
- Training of specialists based on the use of scientific and technological advancements and involvement of students in research work (if the Professional Development Department cooperates with Higher Education Institutions and participates in the training).
