The Scientific and Organizational Department is a structural subdivision of the Research Institute for Digital Transformation of Science. In its activities, the department is guided by the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On Scientific and Scientific and Technical Activities," resolutions and instructions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, other legislative and normative acts, the Statute of the Institute, orders of the Institute's Director, etc.
Main tasks of the Department
- Fostering international scientific, educational, and information cooperation, supporting partnership relations with foreign educational and scientific institutions, organizations, foundations, and firms.
- Creating favorable conditions and providing organizational support for the research and innovation activities of the Institute's scientific departments and initiatives in accordance with its strategic priorities.
- Planning, organizing, and conducting scientific events, conferences, and other activities aimed at disseminating research results and innovative technologies in the field of science.
Structure of the Department
Division for Scientific Support
Coordination of planning and implementation of the Institute’s scientific and innovative activities, provision of methodological support for research, and analysis of research results
Division for International Cooperation
Conducting information and analytical monitoring and analysis of international programs, and facilitating the conclusion of partnership agreements with foreign scientific and educational institutions
Division for Sci-Publications & Events
Ensuring the establishment and functioning of editorial boards, coordinating the editorial and peer-review processes of professional publications, controlling the quality of scientific publications, and organizing the Institute’s scientific events
Main Focus Areas
- Ensuring overall coordination of the Institute's scientific, educational, and innovation activities in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, current legislation, and international (European) standards of scientific quality.
- Providing information and analytical support for the work of scientific divisions and preparing consolidated Institute reports.
- Monitoring and analyzing international scientific programs, providing consultative support to the Institute's departments, and expanding the partner network through cooperation agreements in science and education.
- Developing concepts, structures, and thematic focus for the Institute's professional scientific journals and monograph series.
- Coordinating the formation of editorial boards for scientific publications and organizing the independent peer-review process.
- Organizing and conducting regular scientific events on key issues of science transformation.
- Providing methodological and organizational support for scientific schools and areas, and developing research activity standards.
